I am an Osteopath, coach, lecturer for anatomy and embryology, researcher, dancer, artist, yoga teacher and creator and host of «The Soft Rebellion Podcast». And, I am a woman who suffered from an eating disorder for many years and found healing through movement, body awareness and uncovering the sacred feminine and its creative power.
I initially trained as a dancer in Denmark and the Netherlands. During this time, I encountered many somatic practices, in particular the Alexander Technique and Ideokinesis which continuously taught me as a facilitator the art of creating space and finding ease in movement by using images and imaginations.
The wish of engaging my hands in care for others led me to gain a Masters` degree at the European School of Osteopathy. I later gained a diploma as a specialist paediatric Osteopath from the Osteopathic Center in London and deepened my studies of anatomy at the University of Edinburgh. I am currently working on a doctorate thesis exploring the interface of clinical care and creative arts in body shame and image issues. I am practicing in private clinics in Kent and London, as well as working for the Osteopathic Center for Children in London.
I run my own coaching business - Soft Rebellion Coaching - and I am committed to weave my decade of experience into creating various platforms to support women find their voice, reclaim their soft rebellion - and living a life beyond their wildest dreams.
